Gastronomy

The cuisine of Trinidad & Tobago is rich and diverse, thanks to the influence of Chinese and Indian cuisine in the Caribbean flavor, focusing on spicy dishes (always) based on sea-fruits, pork and especially chicken. Here in the U.S. runs a joke that if you want to create a gift basket (basket) racist to give away to an african-american, it must contain fried chicken and kool aid (our Kool-Aid). Then the people of T & T falls right into the stereotype of the American black man, never seen so much in my life at KFC! There's always a smell of grilled chicken with you wherever you go. The most famous dishes are the chicken curry chicken and chicken with sweet and sour mango sauce. In typical restaurants, you'll find such gems as spring roll filled with spicy shredded chicken.
