Trinidad and Tobago is a country located off the Caribbean coast of Venezuela. It comprises the islands of Trinidad and Tobago and maritime borders with Venezuela, south and west, and Grenada , to the northwest. Its capital, Port of Spain is the favorite to host the Secretariat of the FTAA.
Trinidad and Tobago are two islands of the tropical climate and mountainous terrain. The main town on the island of Trinidad is the capital Port of Spain while the city's main island of Tobago is Scarborough. The location of the country is between the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. With over 1 million inhabitants, Trinidad and Tobago is the country with the second largest English speaking population in the region, after Jamaica. Currently, the country attracts foreign investment and has a booming economy, aiming to become a "Caribbean Tiger", following the example of so-called Asian Tigers.
